Boozy Business Babes

Well, if that isn’t a title to spark your curiosity! As quirky as it may sound, I’m lucky to have been invited to speak at this get-together inclusive of like-minded fellow female business owners. I’ll be speaking on my work in the documentary niche focusing on humanitarian issues and social causes regarding women and girls. For those of you who may not know, in addition to my work in portraits, weddings, events and personal branding photography, I also utilize my photography to document long-term stories on issues that affect women and girls. I’ve covered topics on sex-trafficking, gender equality, refugee resettlement, and asylum seeker releases. If you would like to know more, please visit my other website, and feel free to come join us at this event.

Unmanned Arizona

Arizona is quickly positioning itself as an emerging hub for the drone/UAV industry. And I find myself very lucky to know some of the top thought leaders and innovators that are locally here in Arizona. It is through innovative programs such as Unmanned Arizona, where I was so pleased to be invited to be a panelist on their women in the drone industry panel along side Lorie Grabham and Tulinda Larson. We shared our experiences and thoughts on the importance of women in this industry. I’m very thankful to have the opportunity to share my story, but more importantly to widen our horizons and embrace the benefits of a gender equal industry. A huge thank you to Darshan from Airavat and the entire crew on the success of another UAV summit!

AZ Foothills Magazine – Trendsetters to Know

I was honored to be featured as a Trendsetter to Know in the Leaders category for Arizona Foothills Magazine. I have been an avid reader of this magazine ever since my parents move to Arizona in 2005, so be featured as one to know, was a huge honor and delight. I do not know who nominated me, however I am very thankful for whomever did. Scrolling through the other features, I have found myself in some pretty fantastic company!
